Began my employment as a camera operator and moved up to director of photography and post production supervisor. I was constantly doing a mix of managing a crew, camera operating on Canon XF-605’s and Sony FX series cameras, and preparing projects for post production.

Forensic Videographer and Editor

 

I was hired to plan, shoot, and edit “Settlement Videos” that highlight traumatic injuries and loss of life. These videos would be shown pre-trial to persuade opposing legal counsel to settle the case favorably for the plaintiff outside of court. I professionally conducted sensitive interviews with some of the most damaged humans imaginable. Besides the settlement videos, I assisted with branding material for the firm and I installed and operated their state of the art  mock courtroom outfitted with PTZ cameras and microphones. 

 

 

Free Donziger Campaign (Steven Donziger, Human Rights Attorney)

I was hired to manage Steven’s digital presence and produce video content for his newsletter, twitter, instagram, and press relations. I was a foundational part of growing his twitter account from 55k to 200k followers. I still work with Steven as a friend and a contractor, his life and work is crucial for future corporate accountability and environmental sustainability.

Podcasting Intern

I was hired as an post-production intern in their podcasting department. While my role was limited to pitch deck reviewing and development research, I spent almost the entire day with their in-house editor. Despite not being an audio engineer by trade I was able to learn an incredible amount about sound design and editing. These skills have definitely translated to my video editing.

I was hired to be the lead content creator at a small surfboard company in Los Angeles. I assumed all roles that you would find in a video department. I planned, shot, produced, and edited all of their Instagram, YouTube, and Google SEO content. I was able to drive significant traffic to their e-commerce website and maintain strong brand appeal.
